Part of an Interest Group Activity for her tai chi participants, Simon and Jennifer organized the year end celebration with Karaoke singing and practicing Tai Chi together. The event involved 180 participants with great support from cc in Queenstown, Toa Payoh, Woodlands, Leng Kee, Cheng San and Teck Ghee Kampong Glam and RC of Rochor Centre, Rocwell Court, Bishan RC Zone 3 & 5
Highlight of event, involved a healthy ageing talk by Asso Prof Lau Tang Ching. Tai Chi practices – Tai chi for Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Diabetes, sword and traditional taichi demonstration by their trainers. A good way to stay active, bonding of tai chi participants from different cc and rc group, as they met. Friendship being form as they work as a team to solve the special Tai Chi suduko puzzle, Bingo game and singing the Christmas Carols with Helene Larivee leading the group as they make chain dancing round the hall. |
