The world famous "Dragon Door grottoes" are formed in 1km of the stretch of the Yi river, with approximately 1,400 caves. 100,000 statues from 1 inch high to the largest Buddha statue is 57 feet in height. There are also 2500 stelae (engraved stone or wooden slabs) and 60 pagodas.
